Meet Randi J. Wortman
Randi J. Wortman, Ph.D., a third
generation Washingtonian, is a licensed psychologist with more than 20
years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples,
and families. She has extensive experience treating attention deficit
disorders, depression, anxiety, mood disorders and eating disorders.
Dr.Wortman
enjoys working with a variety of types of clients, from all backgrounds and ages, from seniors to children, including... yes...adolescents and college-age students in order to increase
self-awareness and find constructive solutions to promote their growth.
Dr.
Wortman understands the challenges of those dealing with weight issues
and coaches her clients toward a healthy self-image. As a leader in
the field of positive body image, Dr. Wortman has appeared in The Washington Post and Washington Parent and Cosmopolitan magazines. She has been interviewed on Parenting Perspectives, ABC's Money Matters, and National Public Radio's The Diane Rehm Show.
Dr. Wortman is available for speaking engagements and educational seminars for businesses, schools, and associations.
Dr. Wortman has offices in Silver Spring, Maryland right outside of Washington, D.C. and in Middletown, Maryland, which is a sleepy beautiful town 10 minutes west of Frederick, Maryland !
